OVERALL ROLE
The Mechanical Technicians in a PV, are responsible for performing hands-on mechanical maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the smooth operation of all generation and transmission assets. These technicians handle preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for mechanical systems in PV, and transmission infrastructure. Their role is critical for maintaining plant reliability, safety, and compliance with standards in Azerbaïdjan.

Education: Diploma or associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally within the power generation or industrial sector, with a focus on rotating equipment, cooling systems, and structural integrity.
Certifications: Certifications in predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis), high- temperature equipment maintenance, and safety procedures are beneficial.
Technical Skills
- Mechanical Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in maintaining mechanical systems within PV plant, including engines, pumps, cooling systems, and structural supports.
- Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Skills: Skilled in diagnosing mechanical issues, interpreting data from condition monitoring tools, and performing corrective repairs.
- Equipment Handling: Familiarity with handling tools, calibration devices, and heavy equipment used in mechanical maintenance.
- Safety Practices: Knowledge of high-temperature safety procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and PPE requirements for mechanical tasks.
